since this is the thousandth request for jari content i am just gonna get it out of the way: Jamie Daniels and Nari Yoon !!

History/Facts: 
as always this is a timeline as we best know it, if i don't have "evidence" i will notate it as hearsay

2013:
During the Self-Titled tour, Nari had (her team?) reach out to Jamie Daniels. This is right after the ~hype~ of "Call Me Maybe" and they were touring a bunch. Jamie came out to the Anaheim show on 10/19/13, where she was brought up onstage with Syzygy and they performed a rock ver. of Call Me Maybe.

Nari mentioned in an interview after that it was super hard to get them both in the same spot b/c of their respective tours. In an AP article said that she thought Jamie was one of the "most underappreciated artists [she] had seen in years" and asked the interviewer "have you heard that girl's voice!?"

Literally nothing happens between them for years, like not even romantically speaking they just were never together and didn't seem to have a friendship or anything regardless of what stans would have you think. They didn't talk to each other/reference each other/thank each other....

til 2016
Jamie performed in Grease: Live (as an aside she did a really good job lol why don't we ever talk about how Jamie was Cinderella b/c she was incredible anyway) and Nari took to Twitter singing her praises (pun not intended) and calling her a "showstopper".

TBH this is probably what spawned their current friendship because Jamie replied pretty generically with "woah, coming from YOU?! " but they definitely interacted more on social media after this.

Nari dropped by Jamie's LA show on 2/25/16 during her Gimmie Love Tour. The two posted some pictures from backstage prior to the show and according to onstage banter from Jamie at her Anaheim show the next day, Nari took her to breakfast that morning.



Forgive me for losing the timeline a little here BUT IIRC, prior to Jamie's show on 3/25/16 in NYC, the following was posted to social media and became kind of infamous (it's important to note that Jamie was in a relationship at this time, though from what people have pieced together abt After Laughter it's probably after Nari broke up with her ex):


This is what a TON of people use as "evidence" that "something happened" but I'm not gonna go into any of that rn, keep reading if you wanna get to theories!!

2017
4/10/2017 (just before the release of After Laughter and the tour that followed) Nari and Jamie took part in a charity event to raise money for local no-kill animal shelters. * Other ppl were involved in this too but just saying they are in the same place at this time and you guys wanted a Jari post so I'm keeping it short and only talking abt them *



After this Nari was mostly on the road promoting AL; Nari posted this picture of them for seemingly no reason while she was on the road. Jamie had posted on social media earlier thus confirming they were not in the same place when this photo was shared by Nari.


Someone in chat on an ig livestream asked it was like being friends with Nari. Jamie mentioned that Nari is a sweet and calming force, the "type of person you can safely get blackout drunk around because you know she's not only gonna get you home safe but you'll wake up tucked in in your pajamas with an aspirin on the bedside table".

2018
AL tour wrapped just before Jamie threw a birthday party for her then-girlfriend b*a. Just using this time to point out that the following pic is LITERALLY FROM B*A'S BIRTHDAY PARTY STOP SENDING IT TO ME AS "EVIDENCE~"
Nari and Jamie went to some convention to do some panel about women nerds or something idek there's no footage b/c apparently nobody there had any idea that they were around a legend, if you look hard you can find transcripts but they're halfhearted tbh. Anyway the following did begin to circulate after it was CSI: Miami zoom-enhanced out of footage of something else? (look i'm not a nerd I only know that apparently people didn't think this was the most interest part of whatever was being filmed hence the quality).


2019
During an interview, Syzygy played that game where you hold a card to your head and try to guess who you are and when Vic got "Jamie Daniels" Nari used the clues: "you're a super babe, great at singing? Cinderella!! Princess of the masturbation anthem!" After the game, when she was questioned, Nari stated (while laughing) that "Party for One" was second only to "Shebop" by Cyndi Lauper.

Jamie and her gf B*a got doxxed which is shitty and sucks. I guess they broke up sometime in 2019 but idk when or where or why. It was kind of a quiet year in general for both of them as Nari battled her depression and I imagine Jamie dealt with her whole situation. The only thing I could confirm(?) was from 2019 is the following which is I guess from before the doxxing:


2020
Nari went to London for radio press for Petals for Armor, Jamie was there for tour apparently. There's no evidence of it but according to some blog that posted paparazzi pics (which I won't participate in tbh) Jamie had black spots on her arm after Nari's hair ended up dyed black. Before this (allegedly) occurred the two did post a selfie together.


Nari and Jamie were both at Sommersohne's show in Ulm, and a few pictures of Nari hugging Jamie from behind circulated but nothing out of the ordinary from their known behavior.

Hearsay:
no proof that we have beyond anyone's word, so take it for what it is, especially since we don't have timeframes for any of it

The two were spotted at a Blu concert in Los Angeles wearing bad wigs and holding hands.

Jamie travelled in the Syzygy bus to several dates before flying home.

Nari has a folder on her phone dedicated to pictures taken with Jamie (prob true b/c we know for sure she has this for Willa and Roy).

A source on twitter claimed their "cousin in the industry" reported that Jamie was drunkenly throwing handfuls of candy at Nari at an after party in 2017.

After a Syzygy show when the band was signing autographs and taking pictures with fans, one fan mentioned Jamie and allegedly Bailey told a story about Jamie accidentally shoving Nari out of a bunk on a bus during the night but was quickly silenced by Nari who was nearby.

Fantheories
Some fans have decided that "Grudges" by Syzygy is in reference to something that happened after Nari and Jamie in 2013 that caused a rift until 2016, though there's no evidence of why this would be the case except for the gap in time, which is (seemingly) coincidental). Some people say that this is supported by "Warm Blood" by Jamie and that the two are connected. The major claim here is that Jamie and Nari hooked up but Jamie put an end to things swiftly, which hurt Nari.

In 2016 the girls started posting a lot more together, so from that point on we have a lot more content in terms of youtube videos and live streams that are super casual, most of them in Jamie or Nari's house or in comfortable spaces like hotels/ tour buses. During these, Jamie and Nari showcase comfortable body language and even the way that they talk to each other is really like two people who have known each other forever. They tend to be very flirtatious and I'm not going to dedicate space or time to all the gifs where people claim they are "eyef*cking" but just know that there's a ton of little moments that people use as "evidence" in this case.

For awhile there was a theory that Jamie and Nari were secretly together behind B*a's back and that Jamie was her ex. This is honestly a theory for probably about 100% of Nari's ships at this point but given Nari's stance on cheating I don't think she would have taken part in that personally.

They are the "hot otp" again now that they're both single and have been spending a lot of time together, so many people think that something is going on now even if it hasn't necessarily in the past.
